RSVP "ASAP" - Volunteer Meeting Scheduled on August 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

Brooke County Fair  needs 11 drivers for shuttle from parking lot - fair grounds 2 hour increments see Kelly to scheduled September 10, 11, 12, 2010.

Brooke County Senior Center needs 8 volunteers to work Bingo Tent September 10, 11, 12  2010.  Kelly to schedule 2 hour increments.

Weirton Senior Center needing 2 quilters for fundraising.

Change Inc Summer Lunch Program Needing Volunteers, call RSVP office to get scheduled sites and times. July 1, 2010 to August 13, 2010.

Look for RSVP at: Brooke County Fair, Wellsburg Applefest and Christmas in the Park or Drop off your items at the Brooke County Senior Center. We are collecting the following school items from our Wish List! Note Books, Note Book Paper, Crayons, Color pencils, No. 2 Pencils, Pens, Rulers, Protractor, Hand Held Calculators, Glue and Scissors to be distributed to local schools and After School Programs for children in need. PS: Will always take books!

RSVP Volunteers assisting with Fundraisers for Ohio County:

Five volunteers benefited the Muscular Dystrophy Association as they had a fundraising event at The Ale House on main street in Wheeling, June 24, 2010.  Volunteers took pictures of "Jail Birds"" raising "Bond".  Picture L to R: Tammy Croghan, Linda Vidoni, Maddie McDevitt and prospective volunteer, Greta Figel, Nicki Melissinos was active as beverage hostess.

RSVP will host a trip on September 22, 2010 to Charleston WV and stay overnight at Hawks Nest.  Highlights include lunch with Governor Joe Manchin III to celebrate Senior Corps Week and stay at Hawks Nest for sightseeing.  Includes:  Transportation, Overnight Stay and One Breakfast & Lunch. 
FARE$195 Single Occupancy Canyon View Room $157 Double Occupancy Canyon View Room Will Depart 7:00 a.m. on September 22 and Return 7:00 p.m. on September 23. Register /Pay before August 15, 2010 no refunds after September 1, 2010.
