RSVP to hold Christmas Party on December 16th, 2014, at McMechen Community Associations Firemen’s Fire Hall, located at 911 Marshall Street, at 1:00 p.m. Please call 304.527.3410 to register. No rides will be provided by RSVP. We ask that you carpool if possible due to restricted parking. Please bring 2 snack items to help with ASAP Service Project.

 

Please bring all lap robes to the Brooke County Senior Center by December 15, 2015, for distribution. We are always needing 4 ply yarn to help with the RSVP Christmas Project!

 

New Policies: RSVP will request permission for all volunteer recruits to participate in a National Sex Offenders Public Website check. RSVP will not accept any volunteers that are registered on the website. No volunteers may start serving until the online check has been completed. Some volunteers may be required by RSVP stations to submit a L1 Morpho Trust Background Check. Required volunteers will not be accepted unless they agree to be fingerprinted, and background checked. Thank you for assisting RSVP in keeping our vulnerable population safe!

AARP Smart Driver Classes are being scheduled if you would like to participate.  Please call the RSVP office at 304.527.3410 to have your name put on the waiting list.

Deborah Puskarich wants to start a walking program in spring of 2015.  Members would meet at Follansbee Park 6:30 p.m.  If you are interested, please call 304.527.3410.
