AARP Tax Preparation is here! Tax Season.   Brooke County Senior Center - Tuesday - 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.  and Wednesday 9:00 - 12:00 noon MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. Please call 527-3410.   Greater Weirton Senior Center - Monday thru Friday 9:30 to 3:30 p.m. Walk-in’s are welcome no appointment necessary.  Please bring 2010 paid personal property tax receipts with prior year tax information.

State Wide Senior Corps Project RSVP is collecting small, sample or hotel size toiletries. This can be soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. that will be given to local shelters and military service personnel.  Please help us collect these items; they need to be in your local RSVP office by June 30, 2011. 

Special Thanks: Newest ASAP volunteer, Brent Weimer and wife Emma Kay, who assisted the youth in assembling their wood working kits donated by Lowes of Steubenville and also Barb McConnell for coordinating the donation.  Great Job!   Newbrough Photo's Kylene Sisk and Colter Webb for instructing youth on photography.
