RSVP Volunteers Hard at Work

Afterschool Adventures is up and running.  We started with two students; recently we have had up to six attend.  Special thanks to our volunteers:  Maggie Stewart, Josephine Patrone, Pat Accettolo, Janet Benzo, Diane Mendal, Gretchen Caseman, Arthur Quattrocchi and Emma Kay Weimer for your dedication.  Special thanks to 4H and Campfire for assisting with afterschool activities and CHANGE Inc. for delicious hot meals, computers and games. Excellent Work!  We are requesting donations to provide fresh fruit and juice snacks when the children arrive. Not too late to volunteer.

Neighborhood Watch volunteers participated in the Follansbee Easter Egg hunt of 82 child participants.  Volunteers were: Bobby Johnson, Gary and Judith Riggs, Helen Kohen, Thomas McBride, Arthur Quattrocchi and Mary Schwertfeger.  Keep up the good work!

WINK Testing at Hooverson Heights and Franklin Elementary Schools. Special thanks to RSVP volunteers Al Anglin, Hank Vincent, Sandy Fitzpatrick and Julie McQuade, WINK supervisor who assist with DNA testing, fingerprinting and picture taking for parents of 178 elementary students in Brooke County.
