RSVP Community Garden Volunteers are now reaping the harvest of hard work in planting, and caring. Thank you to the estimated 100 volunteers, and community members who have been picking an estimated 800 lbs. green beans, 2,500 tomatoes, and 100 zucchini, along with lettuce, beets, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, and peppers, serving an estimated 300 community members.  We look forward to assistance with next year’s planting, and caring, from those who have received fresh vegetables.  Future gardens will continue only if there is a combined community service. This garden is yours; ask Eddie or Bill how you can help.  When picking, we do ask that you wait till the produce is completely ripe, and take only what you need, so everyone may benefit.
